Yesterday I was part of my first birth at a hospital in the US. It went well the mom did amazingly for a first timer. She gave birth to a beautiful baby boy,Ethan Wesley Smith 8lbs 2oz 29 inches at 5:52pm. This was the 74th birth I have been a part of and the 11th that I have been the doula at. It was a good birth and I feel more confident the next two births I am going to be a part on in July and August. Birth never ceases to be a miracle not matter ho many I am a part of.
